London travel options

With many people traveling to London from all corners of the world we have prepared a comprehensive guide on getting to our venue. It is hard to plan for all eventualities but we trust that this guide will cover majority of possibilities. So here is all the hard work done for you 🙂

London Underground

Have you got contactless card? You DO NOT need to buy any tickets for London Underground journeys. You can wave your bank card instead and great news is – it costs exactly the same as having an actual Oyster Card (which you would need to purchase first). The cost here will depend on how far you are travelling. Would usually vary from £2.50 – £5 per single journey per person. You can look at the official fare estimator here.

London “Tube Map” is one of the easiest maps to read. Period. You can also be aided by one of the available apps. Simply look for London Tube Map – plenty of free options there. Also worth to grab National Rail App if you plan journey with the use of a train.

By plane

London City

This is the only airport that is actually located inside London. This is by far the closest airport to fly to. It does offer some limitations in terms of destinations (it is a relatively small airport) and tends to service higher ticket price flights.

UberX ride will cost you from £22-£30. You can also use public transport, although you will need to make a few changes, it is possible to make the whole journey using London Underground. The fare estimator puts the cost at max £5 for this journey (depends on the exact time of your travel).
