Starting her own marketing agency

From her corporate job, Chloe shifted to consultancy and then eventually, she started her own marketing agency. Her favorite thing about starting her own business is that she gets to do what she loves ninety percent of the time. However, Chloe is not a big fan of the word ‘entrepreneur’ because she thinks it tends to be an overused term nowadays.

Searching for what makes her happy

For Chloe, success is more about what makes her happy than where the money comes from or how much money is made. She has been on a personal journey to work out what makes her happy, what makes her tick, and how to balance life and work. She thinks that this perfect balance will never be achieved and her personal mantra is to keep optimizing, to always find a way to make it better. One of the things that Chloe does to aim for her balance is to make sure she takes time off and she switches off regularly. Despite her concrete attempts to free up her weekends, Chloe still feels that she sacrifices her lifestyle for her work.

Chloe is also one of our speaker for the upcoming New Media Europe Conference and she gave us a bit of a preview of what to expect in her session, A to Z of Email Marketing.
