Podcaster’s problem: Produced podcast intros can be a great way to open up a podcast episode. If you have one done professionally it will sound very different to the rest of your audio. It is important to ensure that it doesn’t stand out dramatically from your recorded audio mix. There are some simple steps you can take to ensure it blends in with your podcast audio.

1. Insert your podcast intro into the Multitrack at the beginning.

2. Reduce the volume of the intro track so that it better matches your own spoken audio.

3. Apply a fade at the end by dragging the square in the top left corner of the audio. Now place your recorded speech on a second track and mix it onto the end of your produced intro.
