We’re great supporters of the indie podcast movement in the UK and it’s great to see so many independently produced shows in the iTunes top charts. To create this list of the best British podcasts I researched the iTunes overall chart in the UK region.
Note that the iTunes charts are constantly changing and this is a snapshot in time of top UK podcasters when this article was published. If you know of any others that should be here be sure to mention them in the comments!
Now, without further ado, here are the top 10 charting podcasts produced by independent podcasters based in the UK in 2017.
Motivate Yourself Podcast

Crash on My Couch Podcast

Enthusiastic YouTubers Arden and Will have embraced the podcasting craze with the entertaining Crash on My Couch podcast. Even though there’s one episode at the time of writing they’ve shot up into spot 80 on the iTunes UK podcast charts. You can expect to hear conspiracy theories to weird cultures of Japan to questions about relationships, happiness, and pet revenge on their show!
Coffee Break Spanish Podcast

Ayrshire based Mark has a great network of language learning podcasts on his Radio Lingua podcast network. Coffee Break Spanish, teaching you everything you’ll need to make yourself understood in native Spanish, is currently the most popular of his educational podcasts.
Grief Works Podcast
