Adobe Audition makes it super easy to extract and process audio from a Google Hangout On Air video. A popular platform that podcasters use to live stream their episodes.
1. Shortly after you have completed a Google Hangout On Air your recorded video will appear in your YouTube Video Manager. Grab it by clicking the drop down arrow next to Edit and click Download MP4.
2. It’s simple to extract the audio from this hangout just open the MP4 inside Adobe Audition. You’ll get the original video file (which can be viewed in Multitrack) along with your file name followed by _audio which is the audio only.
3. Simply process (if needed) and save your audio file as an MP3 ready for upload as an audio podcast.
